ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Junior Web Developer. A Junior Web Developer Iwrites and maintains website code using languages like HTML CSS and JavaScript;collaborating with designers and stakeholders to create user-friendly interfaces;testing and debugging to ensure functionality;and performing tasks like content updates and site role focuses on technical execution often within an agile team to bring project requirements to life and ensure the website is stable and performs well.Position is contingent upon contract award.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite test and debug code using languages such as HTML CSS and JavaScript to build and maintain websites and web applications.Work with designers project managers and other team members to discuss needs plan projects and integrate visual elements.Perform regular testing and validation to identify and fix bugs ensuring code quality and a smooth user experience.Update website content perform backups and make small edits to ensure the site remains operational and up-to-date.Analyze user needs and technical requirements to develop and suggest solutions for improving existing websites.Create prototypes and mockups design user interfaces and ensure the site is responsive and compatible across different devices and browsers.Qualifications2 years of experience with BS/BA 0 years of experience with MS/MAPublic Trust Clearance/ or ability to obtain oneMust be a US CitizenCurrent active IAT II certification (Security) with related software development Computing Environment (CE) certification(s) to comply with DoD 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements (preferred)Primary work locations in Tacoma WA Aurora CO San Antonio TX and Falls Church Remote work may be considered in special cases when approved by the customer. Experience working within Military Health environments is a plus Proficiency in web development languages like HTML CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity with web development concepts such as responsive design and caching. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
