Are you an experienced Diesel Mechanic ready to take the lead?
Alaska Pacific Trucking Inc. is looking for a skilled, organized, and dependable Lead Mechanic to join our team!

We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work, can manage others with confidence, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty keeping our fleet of log trucks and equipment running strong.

Position: Lead Diesel Mechanic
Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and evenings
Location: Port Angeles, Washington
Wage & Benefits: DOE (Dependent on Experience) - competitive pay, sick leave, and more

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (log truck experience strongly preferred)

• Ability to organize workflow, manage maintenance schedules, and lead a small team

• Strong diagnostic, repair, and troubleshooting skills

• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and with others

• Must be able to take charge and keep operations moving efficiently

Company Description Our family-owned business has been in the log trucking industry for over 75 years, spanning three generations. We are currently seeking a senior diesel mechanic to join our team. In addition, we have several shop assistants and helpers. Our goal is to build a team of competitive employees who can work together to achieve success in the log trucking, logging and dump truck industry. We operate 12 - 14 late model KW log trucks and a dump truck, including a few 'jewels' that are used daily.
