We are a customer focused shop working on everything from Class A trucks to Pickup Trucks and passenger vehicles, including support equipment , construction equipment etc. We are looking for an energetic individual who has the ability to work on Trucks, Trailers, equipment, electrical, hydraulics, PM etc. This is a full time opportunity for someone who can work independantly as well as with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair Medium to Heavy Trucks, Trailers and Construction equipment
  • Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs
  • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies, repair, preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience of Hydraulic systems and components including valves, pumps, cylinders, hosing, etc
  • Correct component deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, HVAC, fuel, emissions, air brake and wheel, hydraulics, etc
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Commit and follow all safety procedures
  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
  • Follow all paperwork procedures and parts tracking
  • Pay will be determined upon experience and skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a mechanic
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Ability and skills to operate a forklift, truck, tractpr, etc
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to cut and Weld helpful
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Demonstrate a High level of attention to detail and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines, and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Licenses and certifications a plus
  • Computer skills a plus
