Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDiesel Mechanic Job SummaryOur company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our quickly growing performance shop. While this role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, our ideal candidate is also comfortable working as a technician who can diagnose and repair technology issues in newer trucks. In addition to making repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.-Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities-Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines-Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems-Perform preventative maintenance-Perform welding or small fabrication tasks when needed-Maintain a clean and safe workplace-Wear proper safety equipment when needed-Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications-Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)-Diesel technician or mechanic degree a plus-Experience with small diesel engine repair-Some welding experience required-Mechanical skills-Basic computer skills-Basic math skillsLocated: 125 Ashland Rd.Mansfield, Ohio 44902
