The CDL Driver will be responsible for safely transporting general freight using a straight truck primarily on local routes. This role requires adherence to all driving and safety regulations while working night shifts and ensuring timely delivery of cargo.

This is a night shift position that requires garbage collection.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Strong defensive driving skills
• Ability to plan routes efficiently

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck to transport general freight on local routes
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure vehicle is maintained and perform basic inspections before and after trips
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations for commercial driving
• Load and unload cargo as needed, securing shipments properly
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route progress and any issues
