Diesel Mechanic at NT Truck Repair

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are mostly a newer-fleet maintenance shop. Looking for someone with hands-on experience diagnosing engine, ABS, & aftertreatment issues. Need someone reliable, and with the right experience to diagnose issues efficiently. We primarly service Freighliners, International LT, Volvo and sometimes Peterbilt and Kenworth.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various diesel engines, transmissions, and related components
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and complete repair orders with accuracy
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company and industry standards

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine and transmission systems
• Proficiency with major diagnostic software, including:
• • DiagnosticLink
  • Cummins INSITE
  • Volvo/Mack Tech Tool
  • DAF DAVIE
  • Other heavy-duty chassis and OEM diagnostic programs
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical systems and after-treatment systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with management and customers as needed
