OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and perform diagnostic repair and preventive maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude a solid understanding of diesel systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and safely.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & RepairDiagnose repair and maintain diesel engines transmission systems hydraulic systems and related components.Conduct routine service oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks on fleet vehicles and equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and emission system failures using diagnostic tools and software.Perform DOT inspections (if certified) and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.Equipment & ToolsUtilize shop tools diagnostic equipment and heavy machinery safely and effectively.Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or equivalent vocational training.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and mechanical systems.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.Own basic set of mechanic tools.
