Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $16.00 - $23.00Overview:We maintain a diverse fleet of diesel, gas, hydraulic, and electric concrete cutting equipment and their transport/support vehicles. This is a fast-paced, high energy, and ever-changing dynamic. We are looking for someone to be a motivated person, capable of completing assigned work with minimal supervision and adequate direction. Must be comfortable working in a team environment, working collaboratively with other shop staff and management. We pride ourselves on allowing employees to flex their creative muscles to make repairs and modifications to equipment when it increases capability and durability. The right person will be on time, dressed for success, and willing to jump in wherever the need is that day.Job Requirements:Adapts well to changing workflow and able to work flexible hours (Up to 50/week)Assist in maintaining shop housekeeping, facilities maintenance and groundskeeping, parts inventory and shop organizationReport to Shop Foreman for daily tasks and effectively assist with group and solo projectsPhysically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl for extended periods of time and able to lift, hold, carry weights in excess of 50 pounds with minimal or no assistanceAssist with pick-up and delivery of vehicles, parts, and supplies needed for shop and field operations locally and state-wide.Skill Requirements:Carrying out routine maintenance such as oil changes or battery testing and replacing worn partsAssist Senior Mechanics/Shop Foreman to diagnose, service, and repair various systems that are found on trucks, heavy equipment, and support equipment to include: mechanical and computer electronic controls, air brake systems, transmissions, and pneumatic systemsBasic comprehension and familiarity of hydraulic systems. IE: diagnose physically evident concerns and perform tear-down and/or repair, perform system checks, reading and interpretation of schematics/diagrams.Entry level comprehension of DC electrical circuits and components.
