Job Responsibilities:
- Inspecting, Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, Servicing, and Repairs of Heavy Construction Equipment in a shop and field environment which may require overtime and/or overnight stays depending on the repair situation.
- Conduct necessary performance and diagnostic tests to be able to make an informed and knowledgeable decision as to extent of repair needed to repair machine.
- Ability to reference and interpret service manuals, diagnostics software, and parts manuals to troubleshoot and verify repair and parts needed for repair.
- Ability to follow service manuals and service operation details to provide timely repairs according to repair time guidelines.
- Verify warranty for machines/parts still under factory/extended warranty. Properly handle return of core and warranty parts.
- Ability to write a concise service story to clearly explain the failure, diagnostics, and repair procedure for repairs.
- Escalates unresolved/difficult machine issues to factory technical support or upper management for assistance/resolution/further research.
- Perform Failure Analysis on all machine systems as required for warranty/manufacturer.
- Cleaning of equipment before and after repairs to ensure clean working environment and quality repair.
- Keeping clean and organized work area.
- Will perform other duties as required.

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: At Least 2 years (More Preferred)
- Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic knowledge: 2 years (More Preferred)
