We are dedicated to being the leader in the application and design of innovative services fostering new partnerships in the community promoting excellence in the delivery of care for residents and staff by anticipating and embracing the ever changing needs of the community we serve.Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker must be reliable and dedicated to providing excellent meal service to our residentsDietary Aide/Food Service Worker responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare food serve residents clean up after meals and washing dishesProper in kitchen preparation and cleaning in regards to the station assignedPrepare cold and hot food and beverage items in accordance to diets and recipesDietary Aide/Food Service Worker will assemble trays according to prescribed diets and serve resident tray line and main dining roomTake inventory and deliver prepared nourishments to nursing unit pantries at designated times for residents useHandling of food in a safe mannerDeliver and retrieve food carts to all nursing units during meal serviceRequirementsSome high school educationExperience working in a kitchen in a healthcare setting preferred but not requiredExcellent customer service skillsWork well under pressure & willing to work harmoniously with all staffMust have a working knowledge of food service techniques and sanitationAbility to follow written and verbal instructions required*Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDCWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer celebrate diversity & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
