Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Dietary CookJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated dietary cooks to join our team. The role requires working every other weekend. Cooks will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.ResponsibilitiesRead and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items.Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station.Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.Perform other duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of cook experience.Ability to follow recipes accurately.Experience in food preparation, tray line, cooking, chef duties, food production, and line cook responsibilities.Knowledge of food safety practices.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 - 2 years of previous related experience is beneficial.Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.Why Work Here?Enjoy the opportunity to advance your career in a climate-controlled environment with good benefits once permanent.
