Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Dietary CookJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated dietary cooks to join our team with varying shifts, including 10:30 am to 7:00pm. The schedule includes every other weekend. The role involves accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, and special/catered events.ResponsibilitiesAccurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items.Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing food items.Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or grill station.Attend work and arrive for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.Other duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts depending on business needs.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of cooking experience.Ability to follow recipes.Experience in food preparation and production.Knowledge of food safety standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsTeam-oriented, adaptable, and reliable.1 - 2 years of previous related experience is beneficial.Ability to nurture a healthy and safe working environment for all.Why Work Here?Our organization offers opportunities for career advancement, a climate-controlled work environment, and excellent benefits once you become a permanent employee.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a hospital setting, ensuring a professional and supportive environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond Heights, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
