As a Dietary Aide you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious well-prepared meals in a warm and welcoming environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and team-oriented setting.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation portioning and serving of meals to 53 residents three times daily year-round- Ensure all meals meet dietary guidelines and residents specific nutritional needs- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations- Support the dietary team in stocking and organizing supplies and ingredients- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents during mealtimes- Document and report any dietary concerns or special requests from residents to the appropriate staffRequirementsSkills and Qualifications:- Previous experience in food service healthcare or a similar setting preferred- Ability to follow dietary guidelines and safety procedures- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards- Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident well-beingAt Stonewall Living Center we foster a caring community where staff growth and resident satisfaction are our priorities.
