Dining Service Student InternDescription:The Leavenworth School Districts dining service partner Chartwells K12 is offering a paid internship program for high school students considering a career in culinary arts and/or those seeking practical working experience. This opportunitywill give a real-world perspective upon which to base future career choices and enhance the student educational experience.Program RequirementsAssist with preparation of dining service at the assigned locationWork with theChartwells K12 staff kitchen manager and building administration to support efficient kitchen operationsParticipate in trainings related tofood service needsAddress individualdining needs and supportsAssist in administeringmeal service including but not limited to preparation dining service and clean-up.Other duties as assigned by Chartwells K12 staff or USD 453 staff.CompensationDining ServiceInterns will be paid at the rate of $12.50/hour.
