Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Brentwood, CA
$17.50 - $19.50/hour (Depending on Certifications)
Temp to Perm: Tuesday-Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do as a DSP You will provide direct support to individuals while helping maintain a structured, safe, and supportive home environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily routines based on each Individual Program Plan (IPP)
• Assist individuals in developing and progressing toward IPP/ISP goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment
• Encourage community inclusion, family visits, and social activities
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living skills
• Prepare meals and support light housekeeping tasks
• Transport residents using company vehicles
• Communicate any concerns, incidents, or changes to administrators
• Provide dependable, compassionate, and professional support
What We're Looking For Required Education & Certifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• DSP I & DSP II Certification
• CPR / First Aid Certification
• CPI Certification
Experience
• 3+ years supporting adults with developmental disabilities or mental health needs
• Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors strongly preferred
Driving Requirements
• Valid in-state driver's license
• Must be 21 years or older
• Proof of current vehicle insurance and registration
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 points within the last 3 years)
