Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Part-time at Accessible Space

We are looking for a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our day shift team in Carson City, NV. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and maintain a high quality of life. Why Join Our Team? Outstanding leadership - within a successful, growing, long-established organization Responsibilities: Provide assistance with activities of daily living - mobility, transfers, hygiene, dressing and related areas. Provide functional skills training - assistance / instruction in cooking, shopping, cleaning Offer cognitive skills training - memory training, reinforcing speech and language Monitor client activities at the site Maintain accurate charting/documentation Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 18 (as required by the State of Nevada). Read, write, hear, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals Must be able to pass a background check as required by the state of Nevada Previous health care experience a plus but not required A valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance a plus.
