If you would like to start an exciting job with a company committed to excellence and innovation all while doing what we do please consider joining the UCP of Central PA team!When it comes to where you work we know youve got choicesheres what we provide:Pay Rate: $23.00 per hourUp to $24.00 per hour with NADSP Frontline Supervisor certificationPosition Status: Full-time 40 hours per weekSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm one late shift (10:00 am 6:00 pm) each week *on-call responsibilitiesMust be available for on call and live within reasonable proximity to the homeBenefits may include: Medical Prescription Dental Vision Retirement Plan with Company Match Life and Disability Insurance Company Contributions to Your Health Savings Account Paid Time Off and more!Same day pay available with Tapcheck!As a non-profit employer UCP participates with the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program - full-time employees may be eligible for the remaining balance on their Direct Loans to be forgiven!ResponsibilitiesHeres what to expect as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Residential Supervisor:Build and maintain productive and trusting relationships with each individual who receives supports.Ensure that supports are provided in a manner that is conductive to growth skill development and improved self-esteem.Assist with ensuring the achievement of the overall program objectives outcomes and quality improvement.Ensure that all the medical needs of the individuals are fulfilled including scheduling of medical appointment transportation to and from the appointment and implementing all follow up recommendations.Ensure that all individuals have a safe and compliant living environment monitor the home for routine maintenance and complete all requirements for requesting repairs and service.Design specific and unique goal plans for the development of the individuals growth and attainment of life skills. Monitor and adjust plans accordingly.Develop and enhance partnerships with individuals staff members and external stakeholders.Implement individual-focused initiatives that enhance the individual experience and support a Servant Leader culture with a focus on individual satisfaction.Apply leadership strategies to maximize individual and employee engagement.QualificationsMinimum requirements as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Residential Supervisor:6 months to 2 years of previous (DSP) Direct Support Professional job-related experience expectedPrevious supervisory experienceA High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificateA valid drivers license and 6 months driving experienceAccess to a vehicle with valid insurance registration and inspectionA team player who can be flexible with their scheduleAbility to communicate read write and understand the English languagePreferred but not required:Knowledge of applicable compliance regulations (i.e. Chapter)Previous supervisory experience preferredIf you are still reading we should talk!
