This allows us to take a comprehensive holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative responsive solutions.Set Pay Rate: $20.25 per hourCore Responsibilities (Applicable to All DSP Roles)Provide direct support and supervision to individuals to ensure safety engagement and well-being.Assist individuals with personal care tasks including hygiene dressing mobility and meal preparation.Implement and follow individualized care plans supporting each persons goals and skill development.Administer medications accurately and in compliance with agency policies and regulations.Ensure a safe clean and organized environment adhering to health and safety protocols.Utilize approved behavior intervention techniques to assist individuals in emotional and behavioral regulation.Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities progress incidents and other required reports.Foster community integration by facilitating participation in activities events and social interactions.Maintain open communication with supervisors team members and external service providers.Attend required training staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay informed and compliant with agency expectations.Work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.Treat all individuals with dignity respect and kindness.Role-Specific ResponsibilitiesDay Program DSPEngage individuals in structured activities that promote learning socialization and skill development.Monitor and support individuals throughout the day ensuring active participation in program activities.Transport individuals to and from program activities and community outings.Collaborate with the day program team to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes.Residential DSPSupport individuals in maintaining independent living skills such as housekeeping budgeting and cooking.Assist with grocery shopping meal planning and meal preparation based on dietary needs and preferences.Monitor and report any health concerns ensuring medical appointments are scheduled and attended.Serve as a liaison between individuals their families and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.Floater DSPAdapt to different home and program environments providing coverage as needed.Be flexible and responsive to staffing needs traveling between various locations as assigned.Ensure consistency in care and documentation across different program sites.Remain awake and alert during overnight shifts conducting scheduled safety checks.RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in human services preferred.Certifications: Must obtain and maintain active certifications in:Certified Medication Technician (CMT)CPR/First AidMandt (or other crisis intervention training)Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; a strong commitment to person-centered support is essential.Skills: Strong communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
