What You'll Be Doing Every day is different and rewarding!
You will:
Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities
Follow individualized plans (IPP/ISP) to help clients achieve their goals
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive living environment
Help clients visit family, attend appointments, and enjoy community activities
Encourage social interaction and fun recreational activities
Assist with personal care including grooming, hygiene, and dressing
Prepare meals and help with cleanup
Communicate with team members and report any concerns or incidents
Education & Experience Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year experience in a residential facility supporting individuals with IDD
California Driver's License
Must pass all pre-employment screenings and background check
Preferred (or willing to obtain after hire)
DSP Year 1 & Year 2 Certifications
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) within 6 months
First Aid / CPR within 30 days
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges
Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
