$21.00 per hour

What You'll Do
As a Personal Assistant (DSP - Day Program), you will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or chronic illnesses while promoting independence and community integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
6 months-1 year caregiving experience (professional or personal)
Age 21+
Valid California Driver's License
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Ability to pass background check & pre-employment screenings
Preferred (or willing to obtain): DSP Year 1 & Year 2 Certifications
CPI Certification (within 6 months)
CPR/First Aid (within 30 days)
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs
Full-Time Benefits

What You'll Do
As a Personal Assistant (DSP - Day Program), you will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or chronic illnesses while promoting independence and community integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport individuals using your personal vehicle for appointments, work, and community activities
- Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, toileting, hygiene)
- Provide emotional support, behavioral guidance, and medical assistance as needed
- Follow Individual Program Plans (IPP)
- Teach life skills (mobility, workplace readiness, community engagement)
- Accurately document daily activities and data
- Report incidents and suspected abuse per legal requirements
- Facilitate group and individual community integration activities
- Attend trainings and staff meetings
Required: High School Diploma or GED
