Director, AI Governance at Datavail Infotech

DescriptionThe AI Governance leader will define and implement Datavails enterprise-wide AI governance framework ensuring responsible secure and compliant use of AI technologies across all business units. This role is pivotal in aligning AI initiatives with regulatory requirements ethical standards and organizational objectives while mitigating risks such as bias model drift and data exposureKey ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Framework Development Design and maintain AI governance policies procedures and standards that complement existing data governance frameworks Establish oversight mechanisms for AI systems including fairness transparency and accountability controls Develop charters and governance models for cross-functional AI governance teamsRisk Management & Compliance Implement controls to address emerging risks such as prompt injection attacks bias and explainability Ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g. GDPR EU AI Act) and internal security protocolsOperational Oversight Define standards for AI model testing auditing and output contesting Oversee continuous monitoring of AI systems for performance ethical compliance and security vulnerabilitiesCollaboration & Leadership Lead cross-functional governance committees involving IT compliance legal and business stakeholders Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI governance trends and best practicesQualifications 7 years in data governance AI governance or related fields; experience in enterprise-scale governance frameworks Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies data privacy regulations and risk management principles Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders Certifications in AI ethics data governance or cloud AI platforms (AWS Azure) preferredRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Fundraising,Management Experience,Coaching,Analysis Skills,Strategic Planning,Team Management,Budgeting,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Public Speaking,negotiation,Supervising Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
