DescriptionWe are searching for a Director of Behavioral Health Programs someone who works well in a fast paced this position you will develop and oversee a comprehensive Behavioral Health population health strategy to include care management and utilization management in order to improve the health and wellness of members including psychosocial environmental and financial barriers. Define population health initiatives and create a structured scalable approach to building prioritizing and monitoring behavioral health programs. Identify opportunities for financial savings drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Think youve got what it takesJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a behavioral health program and maintain a population health strategy for the behavioral health populationHelp create and maintain a health plan-wide behavioral health program that addresses behavioral health strategy and population health issues such as mental health and substance abuse disorders.Develop approaches policies and programs that are based on Texas Childrens goals and objectives and that meet the Health Plans performance goalsEnsure the delivery of cost effective community-based and culturally sensitive behavioral health programs including continuous quality improvement monitoring.
