Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cardiac Cath Lab Director, you will lead daily operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient cardiac care, managing staff, and upholding clinical standards. Every day you will optimize scheduling, resources, and workflow, while developing staff and fostering a collaborative team environment. To succeed, you need strong leadership, extensive clinical knowledge, and the ability to drive quality and compliance for superior patient outcomes.
- Coordinates patient flow
- Consults in patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge and serves as clinical resource for problem solving and assists staff with patient?related issues and emergency situations
- Acts as liaison and collaborates with other departments, physicians and patient care services to facilitate care progression and ensure quality nursing care
- Serves as a role model to develop staff competence in the delivery of nursing care based on national professional standards
- Recognizes noncompliance and demonstrates correct application of hospital policy and procedures, and responsible for cost effective operations and initiatives
- Facilitates unit?based performance enhancement program/projects
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Five (5) years leadership experience
- One of the following licenses in the state of Texas
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Registered Nurse
- Medical Radiographer
- Registered Vascular Technologist
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within six (6) months of hire

Nationally recognized as a HealthCare Center of Excellence, St. Luke's Health-Memorial Lufkin offers compassionate, comprehensive health care, including off-campus rehab and outpatient facilities and services. In addition to its large emergency department, there are 32 private rooms, dedicated imaging and OBGYN, wound care, infusion and lab services.
