Aon is looking for a Performance Director - New York, NY open to hybrid!Do you have a deep interest in financial markets, specifically Banking, and like to engage with senior stakeholders?Do you enjoy delving into data to find answers and insights?This is an opportunity to work in a small, inclusive and supportive team helping senior stakeholders at financial institutions make strategic decisions!Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.GAUGE is a solution line within Aon's Talent vertical which uses proprietary data to provide Global Banks with financial benchmarking to assess efficiency and performance across their Front Office Businesses and Infrastructure Functions.Insights are consumed by c-suite stakeholders to help them make better decisions around the strategic direction of their organization.What the day will look likeEvery day is different which keeps it interesting, but key tasks would include:Presenting detailed analysis to senior stakeholders across the Front Office and Support Functions of bulge bracket Investment Banks to help them understand their largest opportunities to improve performance and efficiencyManaging and executing delivery of consulting projects, including leading a junior team members across various locations globallyBusiness development through growing and building on existing client relationships and improving the product offering to drive long-term revenue growthHow this opportunity is differentHigh revenue generating team that provides unique benchmarking insights to clientsInvolved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from data normalisation to client and project management to presentation of results and insight to senior stakeholdersBuilding strong relationships to senior stakeholders at Global Banks, and supporting them with data insights to make strategic decisionsOpportunity to collaborate and develop networks and understanding of different Aon solution linesOpportunity to develop and lead junior team membersHybrid working model with the flexibility to work in the office and at homeSkills and experience that will lead to successAs a Director in the Performance and Analytics team, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Experience of working in a financial institution or in management consultancyIndustry awareness and an understanding of the immediate challenges facing Global Banks in the current market environmentWillingness and ability to grow and develop the existing businessAbility to deliver client presentations to a senior audience with effective story telling of a range of metrics and insightsProactive mindset, willingness to learn on the job, and able to work independentlyCuriosity to question and understand the implications of internal processes/client resultsExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and good personal organisation or project management skillsStrong analytical skills across large data setsPrevious people management and leadership skills would be desirableHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Eligibility for benefits is governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000 - $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
