Weve raised over $160M in venture capital serve thousands of customers across the US Canada UK and Ireland and weve been rapidly growing year over addition to driving hypergrowth with our current product line Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director Hardware Quality Engineering to lead Bevis hardware quality organization and shape the companys quality strategy across our product portfolio. This leader will drive the long-term roadmap for product reliability supplier quality and field performance; ensuring Bevis systems deliver exceptional customer experience and operational excellence at scale.Youll oversee a growing team of quality engineers and technicians and work closely with senior leaders in Hardware Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain and Operations. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence at the executive level aligning quality outcomes with business goals and brand reputation.Your Day to DayLead develop and expand a high-performing team of quality engineers and technicians fostering a culture of accountability data-driven decisions and continuous improvementSet the vision and strategy for hardware quality across design manufacturing and field performance to support Bevis growth and product roadmapPartner cross-functionally with Engineering Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership to ensure quality and reliability are embedded early in product design and supplier selectionEstablish and scale quality systems and processes that enable global manufacturing readiness including supplier qualification process capability and failure analysisDrive systemic root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D RCCA) for complex product and supplier issues using data to guide prioritization and improvementOversee supplier and contract manufacturer quality performance including audits scorecards and escalation managementMonitor and drive key metrics for reliability warranty and field performance to ensure Bevis hardware meets and exceeds customer expectationsRepresent Quality Engineering in cross-functional reviews and executive discussions providing clear data-backed insights and recommendationsRequirementsPassion for building world-class products and systems that delight customers and scale reliablyProven success leading hardware quality or reliability engineering at the Director or senior manager level in a high-growth or consumer hardware environmentStrong foundation in quality engineering principles (FMEA GR&R SPC DOE reliability growth modeling etc.)Demonstrated experience with electromechanical systems consumer electronics or commercial appliancesExperience leading supplier quality management including audits process validation and NPI launch readinessStrong communicator who can influence across functions and levelstranslating complex data into business-relevant insights10 years in hardware quality or reliability engineering with at least 5 years in people leadershipBachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field)ASQ certifications (CQE CQA) a plusAbility to be in the office 35 days per week and travel up to 30% (domestic and international)#LI-CK1#LI-HYBRIDAt Bevi we believe compensation is a powerful tool to attract retain and grow talent. Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Bevi employees receive equity in the form of stock options.
