You will be responsible for managing and mentoring the Electrical Camera RF and other specialized teams building our new products. As an engineering leader you will be able to influence product definition and be called on to lead during critical moments with direct access to the executives of the company.What Youll Do:Manage the Electrical Engineering team including system generalist engineers and SMEs: RF camera powerBe a key leader for all NPI projects ensuring the team is designing to a high standard solving problems effectively and that our devices are capable of achieving performance targets.Critical partner to the TPM and Embedded software teamsAuthor and implement process improvements as we improve how we design validate and qualify our products and partnersInfluence product roadmap by offering innovative technology options and by highlighting major risks.What Were Looking For:10 years of experience as a hardware engineering leader OEM ODM JDM all valuableDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentExperience managing teams of engineers and being responsible for multiple projects concurrentlyVery strong domain knowledge in electronics development:Experience with board bring up power supply and signal integrity testing as well as debug and root cause analysisExperience with various interfaces such as I2C UART SPI USB MIPI I2S DDR eMMC NAND flash etc.Experience with Wifi Bluetooth GPS 4G/5G cameras batteries and other peripheralsThis role is not fully remote. It requires 2 days per week in our San Francisco CA office.Pay TransparencyYour compensation may be based on several factors including education work experience and certifications. For certain roles total compensation may include restricted stock units.
