The Director will lead manage and execute federal income tax consulting engagements to drive value for Ryans corporate clients.Duties and responsibilities as they align to Ryans Key ResultsPeople: Supervises consulting work delegated to staff and managers.Develops and delivers ongoing technical training of staff and managersClient: Develops new client relationships and works with Ryan global management team to expand the Practice to other marketsWorks within the Practice to develop new strategies in response to legislation changes and case lawRoutinely makes presentations to prospects and clientsValue:Serves as subject matter expert for Practice area throughout Firm and to the external marketplaceAssists in the general operation and administration of the PracticePerforms other duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree or Masters degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance required. A minimum of ten to twelve years of experience in Practice specialization. Previous track record of excellent service delivery and working in a team environment.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word Access Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Internet navigation and research.Certificates and Licenses: Valid drivers license required.
