Join our team and start your journey today!The Director Global Logistics is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing leading and continuously improving a center-led global logistics organization. This position will define and implement enterprise-wide logistics strategies oversee all global transportation operations and manage key vendor relationships to drive cost efficiency service excellence and compliance.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in logistics strategy cross-functional collaboration and data-driven performance optimization. This leader will guide teams across transportation modes operations management freight audit trade compliance and export operations ensuring global standards scalability and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive global logistics strategy aligned with enterprise goals and business prioritiesEstablish a center-led logistics organization that drives process standardization visibility and continuous improvementLead mentor and develop a global team across transportation operations compliance and freight audit functionsOperations & Performance ManagementOversee end-to-end transportation operations across all modes (air ocean ground parcel)Optimize logistics network design and performance through analytics KPIs and benchmarkingDrive utilization and enhancement of the Transportation Management System (TMS) to enable visibility automation and performance improvementManage freight audit and payment processes to ensure accuracy transparency and fiscal controlVendor & Partner ManagementDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with logistics service providers carriers and customs brokersNegotiate global contracts to ensure best-in-class cost service and sustainability outcomesPartner with procurement and business units to align vendor performance with enterprise objectivesTrade Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with all international trade laws export regulations and customs requirementsImplement robust governance and risk management frameworks to safeguard business continuityPartner with legal finance and regional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate standardsContinuous ImprovementLeverage technology analytics and automation to enhance operational efficiency and decision-makingIdentify opportunities to reduce logistics cost-to-serve and enhance customer experienceFoster a culture of innovation accountability and operational excellence acrossEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in supply chain Logistics Business or related field; MBA preferred10 years of progressive experience in global logistics or transportation management including leadership of multi-regional teamsProven success leading center-led or global logistics organizations in a complex matrixed environmentStrong expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) including system implementation optimization and integration with broader supply chain systemsDeep knowledge of international transportation customs and trade compliance regulationsExperience negotiating and managing contracts with global logistics service providersDemonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent communication stakeholder engagement and change leadership capabilitiesLegal authorization to work in the United States Sponsorship will not be provided for this roleKey Competencies:TeamworkBuilds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration.
