This role ensures that benefit offerings are competitive cost-effective compliant with applicable regulations and aligned with the companys Total Rewards philosophy. The Director will lead a team of benefits professionals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders external vendors and cross-functional HR partners to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & DesignDevelop and implement comprehensive benefits strategies that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.Lead the design and continuous improvement of health welfare retirement and wellness programs.Benchmark benefit offerings against industry standards and recommend enhancements.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with all federal state provincial and local regulations (e.g. ERISA ACA HIPAA FMLA COBRA CRA).Oversee audits filings and reporting requirements for benefit plans.Maintain policies and procedures that support regulatory compliance and internal controls.Vendor & Program ManagementManage relationships with benefits providers brokers consultants and third-party administrators.Lead annual renewals RFPs and contract negotiations.Monitor service levels and ensure high-quality delivery of benefits programs.Associate Experience & CommunicationDevelop and execute communication strategies to educate employees on benefit offerings.Partner with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to support onboarding life events and offboarding processes.Champion wellness initiatives and employee support programs.Associate Recognition and EngagementDesign develop and lead our associate recognition and service award programs globallyLeadership & CollaborationLead and develop a high-performing benefits team.Collaborate with Finance Legal Payroll and HR Operations to ensure seamless execution.Support M&A activity including due diligence and integration of benefit programs.QualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred.7 years of progressive experience in benefits management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Deep knowledge of U.S. and Canadian benefits regulations and market practices.Experience managing vendor relationships and large-scale program implementations.Strong analytical communication and project management skills.CEBS or CBP certification preferred.Who We HireSimply put we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
