Drawing on expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, marketing, operations, and economics, VCA partners with clients to solve their most important business challenges and unlock new growth opportunities.The North America Consulting team provides advisory and solution services to Visa largest and most innovative partners across the region. We apply deep payments expertise to help clients accelerate growth, improve profitability, enhance customer experiences, advance digital capabilities, and optimize operational performance.We are seeking a Director to lead consulting engagements with issuer processing partners and emerging enablers including fintech processors, embedded finance platforms, and software providers that facilitate payments. This leader will deliver data driven solutions, support business development efforts, and help position Visa as a trusted strategic advisor.Representative engagement areas may include issuer processing strategy, enablement and go to market optimization for enablers and ISVs, portfolio growth and lifecycle performance, digital issuance and engagement, operational diagnostics and optimization, and performance benchmarking.Essential functions includePartner with Visa account teams to identify opportunities and build a pipeline of consulting engagements with issuer processors and emerging enablersLead end to end delivery of consulting projects ensuring high quality insights, recommendations, and measurable client impactSupport business development by shaping proposals, designing solution approaches, leading pitch discussions, scoping and pricingDevelop structured strategies, frameworks, and recommendations to address client growth, product, and operational challengesBuild data driven insights that improve portfolio performance, digital engagement, customer experience, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with cross functional teams across Visa including Product, Risk, Sales, Marketing, and Innovation to bring integrated solutions to clientsAnalyze and synthesize large datasets to surface trends and actionable recommendationsCreate scalable consulting frameworks, best practices, and repeatable methodologies for use across VCABuild and maintain strong client relationships serving as a trusted advisor to executive level stakeholdersThis is a hybrid position. Expectations for in office days will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDAt least 5 years of experience in management consulting OR in a corporate strategy or strategic operations role within the payments ecosystem including issuing, issuer processing, fintech, or card productsStrong client management skills with a track record of building relationships, managing executive stakeholders, and leading engagements end to endDemonstrated ability to contribute to business development includinga. Designing solution approaches to meet client needsb. Proposal writing and structuringc. Supporting pricing models, scoping, and deal shapingAbility to operate on both the sales and delivery sides of consulting, managing work from opportunity identification through project executionStrong analytical capabilities demonstrating structured thinking, intellectual rigor, and comfort with complex or ambiguous problemsExceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate analysis into clear actionable insightsTeam oriented and collaborative working style with experience leading cross functional workstreamsKnowledge of payments, issuing products, and digital trends. Issuer processing knowledge is a strong plus but not requiredTechnology forward mindset with curiosity about emerging payment technologies, digital enablement, and AI driven analyticsAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
