Director Narrative Strategy at Cella

Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $70 - 80 per hourOur client is looking for a Director of Narrative Strategy to join their team. This strategy relies on deep customer insights, sophisticated creative decks, and highly polished, committed presentations to build deep trust. This role is to fill a gap as the current narrative and product marketing lead will be out on maternity leave for six months beginning mid January. Responsibilities:Strategic Narrative Architecture: Develop the "red thread" for high-stakes pitches and product campaigns. You will identify the strategic "unlock" that turns a collection of slides into a persuasive story.Information Design & Synthesis: Digest complex technical or business information and structure it into a clear hierarchy. This is about editorial judgment-knowing what to cut, what to keep, and how to sequence information for maximum impact.Pitch Deck Crafting: Collaborate directly with pitch teams to write and structure the presentation deck.This is a hands-on role; you are bridging the gap between high-level positioning and the actual words on the slide.Communication Design: Work with designers to storyboard concepts. You don't just write the text; you visualize the flow of the argument from beginning to end.
