Director of Accounting
Reports to VP of Finance and CFO. Leads accounting operations for a large, multi-site healthcare organization in North Texas.
What You'll Own:
Monthly close process - journal entries, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll
Variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior year)
Accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls (GAAP)
401(k) audit coordination with external auditors
Team leadership - hiring, training, performance management
Payroll and banking oversight
Budget preparation support
Ad hoc reporting and special projects
What You Bring:
5+ years in healthcare accounting/finance, including financial statement prep
3+ years managing a team
Bachelor's in Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred)
Medical group experience a plus
Strong Excel; comfortable with auditors and adapting to new systems
Details:
On-site, M-F, 8-5
Some travel to local medical offices
