Each year the Universitys presence generates almost 9000 additional jobs and more than $250 million in labor income for the area.What You Will DoOversee administrative needs and serve as the primary administrative liaison of the Associate Dean and assigned School of Nursing facultyTriage complex inquiries from faculty and students regarding policies procedures and program requirements.Implement Nurse Anesthesia admissions and data reporting in collaboration with Director and other staff.Provide administrative support for CCNE accreditation and maintain confidential reports for the Associate Dean.Communicate concerns originating in the Associate Deans office related to faculty students and other school matters.Collaborate with Associate and Assistant Deansand Chairs to prepare and distribute academic scheduling grids for courses faculty assignments classrooms and clinical sites. Enter course requests in CPI.Schedule and assist with coordination of CRNA program events and workshops in partnership with the Event/Alumni/Development Associate.Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain/reconcile department purchases via p-card.Prepare and process financial forms for the School of Nursing and serve as backup for front desk and Office Support staff during absences or high-volume periodFLSA: Non-ExemptMinimum Acceptable QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Any one of the following from the categories below:Four (4) years (48 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series.Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the fourth level of this series.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of University and School of Nursing administrative policies academic procedures undergraduate and graduate program operations.Specialized academic and clinical management databases such as EXXAT.Event organization budget tracking data management.Principles of leadership supervision and effective office management.Supplemental InformationCivil Service Information:Civil Service Application - FAQsApplication Instructions:How to Apply - Step by StepIllinois Residency Requirement:Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System candidates must be a current Illinois resident.Classification: State Universities Civil Service System Classification Number:3253 SUCSS Classification Title.
