Reporting directly to the Dean this role requires an innovative strategist and exceptional communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and can inspire engagement across diverse audiences. For inquiries regarding this position please contact the search committee chair Tony Andenoro at Summary of Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Brand AdvancementDevelop and implement a bold comprehensive communications and marketing strategy that enhances the colleges visibility and reputation locally nationally and globally.Serve as a trusted advisor to the Dean offering strategic counsel on branding crisis communication and reputation management.Champion innovative approaches to storytelling and digital engagement that differentiate the college and highlight its academic excellence and community impact.External Relations & Media EngagementAct as the primary media liaison ensuring consistent compelling messaging in partnership with University Media Affairs.Proactively position the college as a thought leader by promoting faculty research student achievements and community initiatives to external audiences.Content Creation & Digital PresenceLead the development of high-impact content across web social media print and multimedia platforms that reflects the colleges mission and brand identity.Oversee social media strategy and execution leveraging analytics to drive engagement and expand reach.Ensure brand consistency and visual integrity across all communication channels.Internal Communications & Community BuildingFoster transparent engaging communication within the college through newsletters updates and events that strengthen collaboration and culture.Coordinate college-wide gatherings and initiatives that reinforce shared values and strategic priorities.Event Promotion & VisibilityDesign and implement promotional campaigns for college and school-level events ensuring maximum visibility and participation.Collaborate with internal and external partners to showcase signature programs and initiatives.Leadership & CollaborationSupervise and mentor student workers interns and contractors to deliver exceptional communications support.Partner with the Division of Public Affairs and other university stakeholders to align college messaging with institutional goals.Represent the college in university-wide communications forums as a key ambassador for its brand.FAU Benefits and PerksIf Benefits & Perks are important to you then FAU is the place to be! View it here: Discover Housing Resources in Palm Beach County BDBMinimum Qualifications:Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience required.Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of communications marketing media and public relations techniques and a track record of establishing and implementing integrated programs encompassing them required. High energy maturity and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels required.Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups including board members faculty staff volunteers donors program participants and other supporters required.Potential candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects problem solve think strategically and be able to pay attention to detail required.
