Job Description

A well-established and growing commercial general contractor in Central Texas is seeking a Director of Construction to lead all aspects of its commercial project operations. This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the construction strategy mentor a strong team and drive successful project outcomes across the region.The ideal candidate is an experienced construction leader with a proven track record in managing teams optimizing operational performance and delivering large-scale commercial projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the planning and execution of all commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Lead and mentor project managers superintendents and field teams to ensure project excellence.Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency safety and profitability.Collaborate closely with executive leadership on company goals budgeting forecasting and staffing.Manage subcontractor relationships contract negotiations and dispute resolution.Ensure compliance with safety standards building codes and legal regulations.Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts as needed.Qualifications10 years of experience in commercial construction including 5 years in a leadership role.Strong background in managing ground-up renovation and/or design-build commercial projects.Deep knowledge of construction processes project management software and financial oversight.Exceptional leadership organizational and interpersonal skills.Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field preferred.Whats OfferedCompetitive six-figure salary plus annual performance bonusesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceComprehensive benefits package (medical dental vision 401k)Paid vacation and holidaysGrowth potential within a stable high-performing teamRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Crisis Management,Marketing,Public Relations,Fundraising,Media Relations,Constant Contact,Strategic Planning,Social Media Management,Team Management,Public Speaking,Wordpress,Writing Skills Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
