Job Description
As Director of Contracts youll shape how we grow. You will be leading a high-impact team that ensures every agreement drives mission success mitigates risk and fuels innovation across our technical and labor portfolios. This role sits at the intersection of strategy compliance and business execution partnering with leaders across Growth Operations and Finance to translate opportunity into smart compliant solutions.What Youll DoStrategic LeadershipDevelop and implement contract strategies that align with business objectives drive revenue and reduce riskServe as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on contractual financial and regulatory mattersLead enterprise-level initiatives to modernize contract processes and improve visibility across the organizationTeam & CultureLead and mentor a talented contracts team (administrators coordinators and managers) fostering professional growth and accountabilityPromote a culture of partnership transparency and operational excellenceCreate scalable systems and workflows that support both current and future growthOperational ExcellenceOversee contract negotiation drafting and management across labor services and technical solutionsPartner with Growth teams to develop proposals pricing strategies and negotiation frameworksManage contract reviews renewals and modifications to ensure compliance and continuityAnalyze performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform leadership decisionsRisk & ComplianceEnsure adherence to federal regulations company policies and DCAA requirementsConduct risk assessments for complex agreements and implement effective mitigation plansOversee contractual actions such as NDAs Teaming Agreements Reps & Certs contract types purchase orders pricing spreadsheets task orders and GSA documentationQualifications : Must HavesActive Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)Bachelors degree in Business Law or a related field10 years of progressive experience in contracts management ideally within government contracting or a technical services environmentProven ability to lead large contract portfolios and high-performing teamsStrong understanding of contract law federal acquisition regulations and industry standardsExcellent negotiation and relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholdersExperience with Costpoint or similar contract management systemsNice to Haves:CPCM or CFCM certificationExperience modernizing contract processes through technology or automationAdditional Information : Employee Benefits:Company paid medical life disability and core vision coverage401k with immediate eligibility and a four percent company matchHealth Savings Account with a company contributionPaid time off with cash out optionEleven paid holidaysPaid family and medical leaveTuition assistance up to five thousand two hundred fifty dollars per yearCovered professional certifications and trainingCommuter benefitsPet benefitsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
