We empower DVMs to become co-owners without sacrificing medicine quality of life or autonomy.With 190 partnership hospitals nationwide and rapid expansion ahead we are investing in a new strategic role designed to significantly expand our national reach and introduce more veterinarians to ownership opportunities through VPP.Role Overview:The Director of Doctor Partner Growth is the spearhead of our national outreach strategy a connector storyteller and talent scout who identifies veterinarians with ownership potential and guides them into meaningful partnership conversations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships reading people and opening doors. Youll operate like a founder: problem solving iterating listening deeply and hunting for opportunity in unexpected places.Youll be measured not on activity but on impact: discovering future co-owners for our partnership model and fueling the next wave of VPP growth.What Youll Do:Outreach & EngagementInitiate authentic outreach calls messages events introductions to warm relationships and open conversationsIntroduce VPPs ownership pathways assess candidate motivations and determine true fitPartner ExperienceBecome a trusted guide to prospective partners helping them explore ownership understand options and visualize career transformationCollaborate closely with our Partnership Development team to hand off vetted candidates into structured evaluation and deal-makingBrand EvangelismRepresent VPP externally at industry conferences social platforms etc.Work with Marketing to amplify voice thought leadership and referral enginesMarket Mapping & SourcingBuild and refine a national pipeline of high-potential veterinariansResearch markets hospitals and industry movements to find aligned candidates before they raise their handsWho You Are:You are a hybrid of recruiter strategist connector and explorer comfortable navigating ambiguity and energized by hunting for talent and giving back to the veterinary profession.You may come from: Veterinary industry sales partnerships or business development Practicing or non-practicing doctor with strong community connections Veterinary recruiting Business development Sales or executive searchWhat matters most is your ability to: Understand VPPs mission and convey the power of co-ownership in a compelling way Identify potential in doctors Build and leverage a rolodex of doctors across the country Listen closely and connect dots between people markets and opportunity Be consistent with VPPs values: We Care We Serve We Collaborate We Do What We Say We Do The Right ThingMust-Have Attributes Fearless initiator you dont wait for inbound you generate it Exceptional communicator clear empathetic human Research-driven curiosity you like finding where the good people are hiding Builder mindset you enjoy creating new processes not inheriting rigid ones Energized by relationship-driven work and long-cycle outcomesWhat Success Looks Like A self-sustaining pipeline of high-quality doctor partners Deep relationships and referrals emerging organically Awareness of VPPs model spreading in markets where it did not previously exist Collaborating with leadership to refine incentive models messaging and funnel conversionWhy This Role MattersThe Director of Doctor Partner Growth is not just filling roles you are shaping ownership futures accelerating entrepreneurial careers and fueling the most meaningful growth lever in our business.
