With over 10 million treatments performed across 180+ locations nationwide, we’re redefining the future of beauty with a digitally forward, customer-obsessed approach.Job Summary: The Director of Equipment Operations at LaserAway will be responsible for overseeing medical equipment operations, evaluating field demand and activity, leveraging field analytics to guide machine procurement, and creating agendas for the refurbishment team. Collaborate with the Expansion team and communicate effectively to meet all growth demands. This includes communication with all field service Directors to ensure operational efficiency, and the warehouse logistics team for receiving, storing, and shipping operations. This role will guide the Procurement Specialist, ensuring all ordering processes are conducted efficiently and promptly for all equipment and components. Responsibilities also include maintaining the department budget, conducting cost-saving analysis, and performing routine assessments. The position will oversee production in the refurbishing shop, oversee electrical component repairs, maintain high productivity, reduce costs and repair times, prioritize agendas based on business requirements, maintain troubleshooting guides, and uphold safe workshop practices for the team. This role will support company growth and strategically expand the division in alignment with operational needs.Supervisory Responsibilities: Prepare weekly reports on repair shop production, buyer activity, warehouse activity, field demand, and escalationsCreate and maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, workplace processes, and safety protocolsManage fleet vehicle registrations, insurance, and maintenanceOversee departmental budgetBuild relationships and negotiate costs with equipment manufacturers and suppliersMeet project and repair deadlines; ensure effective team/management communicationConduct routine risk assessments for safetyAssess and order field inventoryConduct routine employee evaluationsFoster a positive work environmentPropose and manage work condition/process improvementsProfessionally address non-work-related topicsLead by example (dress code, communication, support)Be available during all operating hoursEssential Job Duties/Responsibilities:Self-sufficient and creating a work scheduleSupport repair shop agendas when neededApply progressive discipline when needed for the teamExcellent day-to-day prioritization skillsApply attention to detail to repair shop production and field demand assessmentsCommunicate professionally through email or any communicationCommunicate effectively using the Slack platformAbility to escalate issues to management during high-impact situationsExceptional Time ManagementAbility to lead meetings and create team agendas as neededMaintain a professional appearance to display LaserAway standardsAbility to professionally address recommendations to managementProficient computer skills, including the use of Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets etcExperience with field service or manufacturing softwareMinimum Qualifications:7-10+ years of related experience is required at a minimumRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in the following fieldsBusiness, Management, Manufacturing, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Production, Electrical Engineering, or EngineeringExperience with managing workshop productionExcellent time management, organization, and prioritization abilitiesExperience with electrical safety and theoryMaintain a clean driving record and valid identificationCritical Thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust maintain a valid driver's license to support equipment transportation needsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to delegate tasks while aligned with business needsPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:Conduct video meetings with a professional appearanceAbility to multitask and manage all teams in warehouseAbility to stand for periods exceeding up to 4 hoursAbility to move or transport equipment in a warehouse up to 250lbsAbility to load and unload equipment in a company vehicle with a ramp inclined at 25 degreesFlexibility to cover all teams during time off, emergencies, or as requested by managementAbility to monitor communication platforms during emergency situations before, during, and after operationsMust be able to lift 50 pounds for short periodsWhy You'll Love It HereProfessional Growth: We invest in your success.
