Position Overview A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Public Finance Paralegal to support its Public Finance Practice Group. Under the supervision of multiple attorneys, this role will handle a mix of billable and non-billable matters related to municipal finance transactions. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of public finance concepts, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.Locations: Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Harrisburg Key Responsibilities Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to public finance transactionsPrepare initial drafts of bond resolutions, offering statements, and closing documentsCompile, distribute, and maintain transaction documentation and closing materialsConduct legal research related to public finance, municipal law, and securities mattersGather, review, and organize due diligence materialsCoordinate transaction closings, including signature packets, final documents, and closing bindersAssist with compliance matters involving federal, state, and local public finance regulationsPrepare state and federal tax filings and UCC documentsMaintain organized electronic and physical files and document databasesCommunicate with clients, underwriters, and transaction participants to obtain information and provide status updates Qualifications Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education with a legal focus preferredParalegal certification from a state-approved or accredited program preferred5+ years of paralegal experience supporting public finance or municipal bond transactionsExperience with filings issued under the Pennsylvania Local Government Unit Debt Act (LGUDA) is a plusFamiliarity with debt statements, borrowing base certificates, and related transaction filings Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and complianceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlinesProficiency with legal research tools and document management systemsAdvanced organizational, proofreading, and analytical skillsStrong judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentialityProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointProfessional demeanor when interacting with attorneys, clients, and colleaguesFlexible and adaptable in a deadline-driven environmentAvailability to work overtime, including evenings or weekends, during peak transaction periods Work Environment & Physical Requirements Professional office settingExtended periods of desk and computer workFrequent keyboard and computer useOccasional light lifting (files, paper, materials)Please contact Alexis if interested ext. 307 PandoLogic.
