DescriptionJeffrey Abrams is recruiting for a dynamic and savvy real estate private equity investment firm that seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to serve as the senior finance leader beneath the executive team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role with the opportunity to build the finance infrastructure for a rapidly expanding, multi-fund investment platform.What You'll LeadOversee treasury, fund finance, FP& A, accounting and financial reporting across multiple funds and investment entities.Manage and mentor the 3-person accounting team (not including offshore team) while strengthening internal controls and scalable processes.Lead treasury strategy, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, capital calls, and distributions.Partner with firm leadership on fund launches, capital planning, joint ventures, institutional partnerships, and investment analysis.Oversee audits, tax advisors, fund reporting, and investor financial information.Develop financial models and reporting that connect accounting results with investment performance metrics.Why Consider This Role?Executive-level visibility and influence on firm strategy.Broad leadership scope spanning accounting, finance, treasury, fund operations, and FP& A.Opportunity to help build the financial foundation of a growing investment platform.Competitive compensation with bonus and potential carried interest.RequirementsWhat We're Looking For10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience within real estate private equity, investment management, or fund operations.Strong background in treasury management, cash flow modeling, FP& A, capital planning, and fund accounting.Experience with multi-entity fund structures, GP/LP partnerships, joint ventures, and waterfalls.CPA preferred; CFA or MBA is a plus.Strategic mindset with the ability to build processes while remaining hands-on.Job typePerm
