Confidential Opportunity A well-established healthcare organization with approximately $500M in annual revenue is seeking an Executive Director of Patient Financial Services to lead a high-performing revenue cycle operation. This role oversees a team of 40+ professionals across billing, collections, customer service, and revenue integrity. The department is currently meeting or exceeding all key performance metrics, and this leader will be responsible for maintaining that performance while driving continued operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of all patient financial services operations including billing, collections, AR, and revenue integrity Manage and develop a team of approximately 40 staff, including 5 direct reports (managers, coordinator, and trainer) Maintain strong financial performance, including AR days currently outperforming targets Lead a critical transition to a new banking relationship handling high-volume daily cash collections Drive improvements in denials management and reimbursement processes Act as a proactive leader, identifying and resolving issues before escalation Partner with executive leadership on strategy, reporting, and operational performance What We Are Looking For Proven leadership experience in revenue cycle, patient financial services, or related healthcare operations Experience managing teams in a mid-to-large scale environment Stable career progression with demonstrated tenure and growth (no frequent job changes) Strong communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and influence stakeholders Self-directed leader who operates with accountability and minimal oversight Experience in hospital or healthcare systems preferred, but not required for the right candidate Why This Role High-performing department with strong existing infrastructure Executive-level visibility and impact Opportunity to lead meaningful operational initiatives, including banking transition and denials improvement Competitive executive compensation package Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance
