Edison Elementary School District Director of Maintenance, Operations & Transportation (MOT) Edison Elementary School District is seeking a qualified Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation Director to plan, organize, and oversee district MOT services under the direction of the Superintendent. Key Responsibilities: Direct district maintenance, operations, and transportation services Supervise staff and ensure safe, efficient facility and transportation operations Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair work as needed Maintain accurate documentation and develop transportation schedules Ensure compliance with safety standards and state/federal regulations Qualifications: Knowledge of school district facility and transportation practices; safety and risk-management requirements; construction techniques and tools Ability to supervise personnel, interpret blueprints, operate various equipment including school buses, and foster cooperative working relationships Experience: Minimum two years of general building/maintenance work; supervisory experience preferred Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction/maintenance training desirable Certification: Valid CA School Bus Driver Certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months Position Details: Salary: $107,609.44 $134,389.45 annually Benefits:$21,249.60 employer-paid health & welfare benefits Work Year: 261 days Employment Type: Full-Time Application Deadline: 12/12/2025 at 11:55 PM Openings: 1 Apply Today: Apply online at https://edison.k12.ca.us/MOT
