This leader will be responsible for supervising and directing the team members who develop and execute marketing and recruiting strategies for Trinity’s undergraduate and graduate programs in Nursing and Health Professions, Education, Business, Journalism and Media Studies, Strategic Communications and Public Relations, Human Relations and other fields. Reporting to the university president, the Director works closely with the deans and faculty of Trinity’s professional schools, and collaborates with the Associate Vice President responsible for recruiting for Trinity’s College of Arts and Sciences.The Director must have a strong track record of success in marketing and recruiting students for adult studies undergraduate programs and professional graduate programs. The Director must be able and willing to work effectively with Trinity’s many partners in hospitals, schools, corporations, associations, government and military entities throughout the Washington region. Working alongside the recruiting team and providing a strong example of recruiting effectiveness, the Director will carry a caseload of corporate partners and prospective students, modeling effective practices throughout the cycle. Strong oral and written communication talents are essential along with proven experience managing and motivating a sales team.Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred, preferably in a field related to the programs listed. Also required: 5-8 years of increasingly responsible experience in collegiate marketing, recruiting and admissions for adult studies and graduate programs.Some evening/weekend work will occur with this position, along with travel in the Washington region; the director should be able to drive and preferably have access to a car. Trinity reimburses mileage and related travel expenses.Trinity enrolls about 2000 students in total through four academic units. While maintaining the historic women’s college in the undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences, the professional units are coeducational and serve students of all ages and backgrounds and include the School of Nursing and Health Professions, School of Education, and School of Professional and Graduate Studies.
