This is an 11-month part-time, seasonal position. Major tasks include:Assist with specific game day preparationCoordinate and execute in-game promotions (selecting contestants, bringing them on field/court/etc.)Set up and take down equipment Interact with fans in a friendly mannerBe knowledgeable about the event taking placeAssist with handling Bruno, the mascot, when necessaryQualificationsPrevious experience in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn the basic rules of sporting eventsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPossess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environmentWeekday afternoon/evening and weekend availabilityA team-oriented mindsetA desire to learnAll division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties.
