Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, public health, nonprofit management, business administration), or relevant experience. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience in nonprofit management, food insecurity, community capacity-building, or related field. Proven experience with program compliance, partner development, and managing grant-funded initiatives. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills. High level of organization, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and comfort with data and reporting systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Valid NYS Driver's License and willingness to travel within the 23-county service area; occasional national travel required.   Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration, writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds.Position Summary: The Director of Network Services is a strategic and operational leader responsible for strengthening and supporting the Regional Food Bank's network of partner agencies. This role ensures partners are equipped with the tools, knowledge, resources, and capacity necessary to reduce food insecurity across the region. The Director oversees partner compliance, education, capacity building, grant programs, and various resources, aligning all efforts with the organization's mission and strategic goals.Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Capacity BuildingLead the strategic development of partner network capacity through targeted assessments, tailored plans, and innovative solutions. Conduct needs assessments and implement capacity-building initiatives focused on inventory management, distribution logistics, program evaluation, and organizational development.Develop and maintain a robust agency education and training program (Institute).Partnership Management & Development Cultivate relationships with current and prospective partners, including community organizations and government agencies. Guide the onboarding process for new agencies and maintain eligibility and compliance standards. Compliance & Program OversightEnsure agency compliance with the Regional Food Bank, Feeding America, and government policies and procedures. Administer key programs, including HPNAP, ensuring alignment with funding and reporting requirements. Oversee the allocation and monitoring of agency grants. Team Management & DevelopmentSupervise and support division staff members, promoting collaboration and high performance. Set divisional goals, monitor outcomes, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Conduct regular performance reviews and professional development for team members. Data, Evaluation & InnovationMonitor and evaluate the impact of programs and capacity-building initiatives using key performance indicators.Analyze data to refine strategies and improve operational efficiency.Work with the technology team to lead initiatives that enhance partner agency ordering and communication processes.Cross-Division Collaboration Work with other divisions leads and department supervisors to ensure adequate product distribution and program integration.
