In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated team caring for 18 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a welcoming, home-like setting. You’ll make a real difference every day by building strong relationships with the people you support and guiding a team that values collaboration and compassion.As Director of Nursing, you’ll manage and support our nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. You’ll work closely with other facility leaders to ensure quality care and smooth operations. Possibility of cuts or minor burns from equipment. May be exposed to communicable diseases.Possibility of injury due to moving or interacting with individuals supported. Qualifications: Graduate of a State approved school of nursing with BSN preferred.Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including supervisory experience. Strong understanding of service delivery systems for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience with regulatory oversight, compliance and quality improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage complex systems, lead through change, and promote a positive organizational culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort with electronic documentation platforms. Valid Maine driver’s license required. Ability to pass required background checks, to include: Adult/Child Protective Services; criminal history; OIG Exclusion list; National Sex Offender Registry; Bureau of Motor Vehicles record; and Maine RN Registry. Compensation details: 80704-100880 Yearly SalaryPI23f68094ae7f-25405-39154027
