Director of Nursing (DON)

Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care

Full-Time | Building-Based Leadership

We’re seeking a hands-on Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations within a high-acuity Skilled Nursing facility. This is not a desk role. We’re looking for a strong, visible leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of their building, and anchors their team during busy shifts.

What You’ll Lead

• Oversight of all nursing services and regulatory compliance (DOH/CMS)

• Recruitment, development, and retention of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

• Continuous survey readiness and leadership through audits

• High-acuity care coordination (vents, dialysis, sub-acute rehab)

• Budget management and staffing oversight

• QAPI initiatives to improve outcomes and star ratings

What You Bring

• Active RN license

• 5+ years in Skilled Nursing / LTC

• 2+ years in DON or ADON leadership

• Strong knowledge of MDS, CMS regulations, and reimbursement models

• Experience leading complex, medically advanced populations

• EHR proficiency (PCC or SigmaCare preferred)
