To learn more about the College of Coastal Georgia's Vision, Mission and Values please click here: https://www.ccga.edu/about/visionmission/Location Our campus is located at One College Drive Brunswick, GA 31520.Job Summary The Associate Director of Housing Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight of housing facilities operations, assignments and billing, and technology systems to ensure efficient, data-driven processes that enhance student satisfaction, retention, and operational effectiveness. This role serves as the senior operations lead for assignments, billing, and maintenance partnerships. Some weekend and evening commitments are required.Responsibilities 1 - Serve as the primary liaison between Residence Life and Housing and Facilities and Plant Operations to ensure timely, high-quality maintenance, preventive care, and housekeeping across all residential facilities.2 - Oversee all housing assignments, room inventory capacity, contracts, and billing cycles within the StarRez system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Business Office procedures.3 - Provide leadership for housing technology systems, including StarRez, Maxient, and access control, in collaboration with Technology Services to ensure system integrity and data integration.4 - Train staff responsible for housing operations, customer service, and system administration.5 - Lead the assessment and reporting of occupancy, demand trends, and service performance metrics to guide data-informed decision-making.6 - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance resident satisfaction.7 - Assist in developing long-term housing strategies that support enrollment goals, retention, and student engagement initiatives.8 - Ensure compliance with USG and institutional policies, safety standards, and occupancy regulations across all residential facilities.9 - Performs related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Educational Requirements-Bachelor's degree in higher education administration, business administration, or a related field.Other Required Qualifications-Experience in Microsoft Office required.-Background Check/Position of Trust.Required Experience-At least 3 years of higher education experience or closely related field.-Supervisory experience required.Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational Qualifications-Master's degree in higher education administration, business administration, or related field.Preferred Experience-Experience with StarRez preferred. -Experience with Maxient preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIES-Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.-Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve housing operations.-Ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and staff.KNOWLEDGE-Knowledge of housing operations, occupancy management, and student-housing systems.-Understanding of higher education and student development principles.-Knowledge of state, system, and institutional policies related to student housing.SKILLS-Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.-Skill in project management, organization, and customer service.-Skill in data analysis and reporting.Contact Information For more information or questions about a job posting, please contact the Department of Human Resources at (912) 279.5740, or by email at [email protected].
