Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe bring you Tomorrow's opportunity, today.Volt is immediately hiring a Director of Operations in Fremont CA, 94538As a Director of Operations, you will be responsible for:The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the highest quality of service. This role involves strategic planning, management of operational teams, and implementation of best practices to support the company's goals and growth. The Director of Operations will work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with organizational objectives.Duties/Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Implementation:Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.Analyze operational performance and make recommendations for improvements.Ensure the effective execution of the company’s strategic initiatives.Team Management:Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team, including setting performance goals and conducting regular evaluations.Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages team collaboration and professional development.Process Optimization:Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across various departments.Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and service quality. Financial Oversight:Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics related to operational efficiency and profitability.Quality Management:Oversee the quality management system to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Address and resolve operational issues and customer complaints in a timely manner.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with other departments such as PM, Quality, and Engineering to ensure cohesive operational support and alignment.Coordinate with external partners, customers and vendors as needed.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all operational activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational risksRequired Skills/Abilities:Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong knowledge of production planning, supply chain management, and quality assurance.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving production goals.Location: Fremont CA, 94538Duration: Direct HireShift: 1st ShiftSalary Range:? $175k/year to $180k/year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should?APPLY NOW?for immediate consideration!
