We move fast innovate constantly and are committed to delivering a world-class experience at every stage.Job Summary/Description:The Director of Paid Media & Managed Platforms leads GDMs non-programmatic digital channels including Paid Search Paid Social and Managed Platforms (QA SEO and Email). This role manages multiple managers and their teams ensuring campaign accuracy operational excellence and scalable processes. They act as a strategic partner to sales and a counterpart to the Director of Programmatic helping translate complex digital operations into clear client-ready solutions. Exceptional communication skills and experience working with broadcast stations are essential.Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead Paid Search Paid Social and Managed Platforms teams with clear goals workflows and accountabilityManage and mentor team managers (Search Social Managed Platforms) and their staffOversee QA SEO and Email vendor partnerships to ensure quality and efficiencyEstablish scalable processes for campaign setup delivery and optimization across all non-programmatic channelsCollaborate closely with the Director of Programmatic while maintaining clear ownership separationTranslate technical campaign details into sales-friendly communication for stationsPartner with GDM Strategy and Campaign Support to elevate station guidance and client experienceEnsure SLAs turnaround times and quality standards are consistently metLead operational improvements documentation and cross-team communicationSupport new product rollouts and enhancements in Paid Search and Paid SocialGuide teams through complex campaign troubleshooting and performance optimizationContribute to forecasting staffing plans and resource modelingMaintain a culture of accuracy responsiveness and customer serviceQualifications/Requirements:710 years in digital advertising including Paid Search and Paid Social leadershipExperience managing large teamsandmanagersStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for sales and clientsPrior experience supporting or working with broadcast stationsProven success in creating scalable workflows and improving operational efficiencyDeep understanding of cross-channel digital media and QA processesAbility to balance operational rigor with a client-centric sales-minded approachExperience managing vendor relationships (SEO Email QA partners)Strong analytical organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to work collaboratively with parallel leaders (e.g. Director of Programmatic)If you feel youre qualified and want to work with a great group of people go to you may type in the job title station call letters or click on apply now upload your resume cover letter and references(Current employees who are interested in this position can apply through theGray-TV UltiPro self-service portal)GDM-TV/Gray Media is a drug-free companyAdditional Info:Gray Media provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin age disability or addition to federal law requirements Gray Media complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
